Traded my 17 Offroad for a 22 limited. I been hoping/waiting on Toyota to put dual climate on a premium like they do in Canada. Wife also wanted all the new safety features. Dealer I’ve been talking to called and said they had a few limiteds coming in. Still getting used to all the differences. Nice. I'm a big fan of the Limited. Like that you put 17" TRDs on them. I did the same. My only big complaints about my 2020 are the OEM wheel and tire combo (now solved by me), the lack of LED headlights (solved by Toyota in 2021 MY and since) and the damn intermittent and seemingly unsolvable steering wheel shimmy at highway speeds. I had been irked by its tendency to wander on the highway, but that's 90% solved by increasing the caster adjustment in the alignment.

I’ll definitely miss the Offroad but the limited and the creature comforts are more my style at the age I’m at. Eventually I’ll replace the xreas and have a mix of the two.

Haters gonna hate lol, but bottom line is the Limited’s 4WD system is preferable in most circumstances, the suspension is preferable on road and not a problem in non-gnarly off roading, and the dumb wheels and tires are easily replaced with TRD OR level wheels and tires — which you’ve done.

Every 4R model involves trade offs, but IMO the Limited has the fewest once you swap out the wheelset. And as you’ve noted, you can always upgrade the suspension— as many owners do anyway, even when they bought ORs and Pros. But they can’t realistically upgrade to full time 4WD or to the creature comforts of the Limited.:boink::cool:

Toyota made a Sport trim which is the limited looks, without the full time 4-wheel drive system.

Maybe they’ll make a trim with the limited drivetrain, but none of the looks?

One could hope! Do it toyota! It will be the swan song for the last of the 5th gens!

I was getting whichever trim had dual climate control ( haven’t had to turn the air conditioning back on one time ). If a Pro was available in silver for the same price it would have been a harder decision.

Wait, Toyota USA doesn't do dual climate control on the premium ORP? I have it on mine up here in Canada but never use it lol

Nope Every year for the last 3 or 4 they say it’s going to be on the Premium models but never is. I run the air conditioner if it’s anything above 60 outside. My wife is the opposite, heat on constantly.

I like it! I might a bought one of those! I went limited for the drivetrain and XREAS more than the conveniences. Might have been happy to give up some of those — plus the excessive chrome — and pay less!
