I just purchased a 2018 4Runner Off Road Premium and I’m looking to give it a touch of flair for looks. I saw that there is a Toytec 1” body lift and would like opinions. I’m replacing the running with some factory steps and I want to add the black TRD Pro wheels and tires. I would like to keep everything as close to factory as I can.

I would genrally stay away from body lifts. If you want just a bit of lift go with the TRD Pro suspension it adds a little lift, plus it is stock. Bonus you can pick up a used set for people who changed to bigger lifts.

Awesome thanks. On the hunt for wheel and the suspension now.

A couple of more questions. I’ve been pricing the TRD Pro suspension and I see they are around 1500.00. Also I’ve seen the TRD Pro wheels for around 800.
Who should I get to install the suspension? Should I go to the dealer or will a wheel and tire place do?
On the TRD Pro wheels I’m assuming they are a straight swap , no spacers or anything needed.
I’ll post a pic when I’m done with my ride. My steps come tomorrow and get my windows tinted Monday. Just the suspension and wheels left.

    Thank you for the advice

No spacers needed, the Pro suspension lets you runner sit more level while vastly improving your ride. (I know you were looking at one inch but i recommened the trd pro because you wanted stock and somewhat of a ride height increase). Personally i would go with a reputable wheel and tire shop that installs lifts, Toyota does not even know how to service a 4runner properly from what i have personally experienced and read through the forums. That price sounds about right for both, like i said before you can find used shocks cheaper off people who have gone with bith bigger lifts.
