I posted this in the AV forum but i can tell this one gets a lot more traffic.

I have dowloaded the apps but entune keeps telling me that hands free messaging isn't supported on my iPhone. Hands free texting is an important feature for me so really appreciate any advise on how to get it working. I have a 2019 TRD Pro

Thanks for the reply. I appreciate it. The kid at the dealership sent me a u tube. The blue tooth and hands free calling work fine. Apparently enabling siri the right way will get the texting to work even though its never been a requirement on any car I've ever owned. Will keep u posted.

We had some trouble at first on our 2020, but going through the owners manual carefully, it started working, exactly what took place here is kind of a mystery, but now it works. Sorry I can't explain it more in depth. The 'electronics guru' at the dealership could not make it work.

I was able to get it working. Basically its nothing but a bluetooth pair allowing siri to work through the cars speakers. Simple and straight forward. I can help if anyone else has this issue going forward. Im not a “hey siri” guy but for this its worth enabling.

If you can remember what you did, let us know. I've never been able to get siri to work in the car properly.

The entune time lag drives me nuts. I prefer just saying “hey Siri” to the phone and doing it directly. Rather than going through the entune.
