New to the forum here but just wanted to post about our trip to Big Bend for anyone out there wondering about towing with their 4runner. We have a Keystone Springdale mini travel trailer 3400lbs dry weight and 21’ long. We do use a husky centerline weight distribution hitch with sway control bar and I’ve got the air bag helpers in the rear coils installed as well. Ran about 25 psi on those. With no wind it towed great. Relaxing ride even with semis passing etc. little sketch on the way back as it was windy as hell. 8 hour trip. She struggled up Steep hills a little bit obviously but overall I was very impressed with how well the runner towed this thing. S4 the whole way mostly 2500 rpm average unless going up hill etc.

To top that trip we just towed our trailer to Utah to visit the five national parks.

@borellar15 just about to get the same set up and wanted to confirm you still think that the camper weight was ok with your 4Runner?
