Does anyone know the torque specs for the bumper bolt nuts for '03 4Runner? I'm attaching bull bar brackets.

PDFs from the Toyota Manual for removing and installing front and rear bumpers, as well as installing the Sport Bumper Trim.

Try 064000.pdf for torque specs on front bumper.

Try T-AI-0133-W for torque specs on bull par installation.

Hi, not sure we're talking about the same thing. Here's what came with the bull bar feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. If the attachments don't make it let me know and I'll resend them.

That would be good because these nuts just will not loosen and I'm seeing vids on youtube where they're using standard wrenches with only one guy that said you're going to need a torque wrench to get 'em loose.

Please do not loosen anything with a torque wrench, You stand a huge chance of damaging it. Impact OK to loosen, No torque wrench.

Agreed. What OP needs is a breaker bar.

OP, from your title I presumed you were trying to re-attach, not remove. Please keep in mind on an '03 those bolts may have never been moved in 21 years. Depending on your location rust and/or corrosion could be a factor. You may need a lot of leverage to get those loose.

To RunHamRunner 7 Yes, I read up on it and didn't attempt it thank you. To BLKNBLU, that thought occured to me this morning since most vids showed much more current models thank you Now I just have to educate myself on what is a Pb Blaster and a Breaker bar.

In terms of length of breaker bar what would you suggest?

18" breaker bar should work. A length of steel pipe helps if you can't get enough leverage. If there's enough room for it to be used.

That's why I asked, a 24" would've been way too long the 18" was fine and thanks for the suggestion it was exactly the tool I needed.
