Tire Rub 2020 4 Runner TRD OR

Recently put new tires on my 2020 4 runner :BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 Tire (32" - 275/70R17) and a rough country 2 inch lift. Took it in to get a tire alignment & I immediately notice the front tire was rubbing on the bumper when backing out. I didn't hear any rub from the rear - how can I fix this? Should I go 3 inch lift? I would like to prevent viper cut and I really want to keep my new tires. Pictures and link for reference. Please help!

Just trim that little corner like the TRD Pro gets done.

 

A utility knife and a fender liner adjustment should be all it takes.

Also too little offset on those Method wheels. Might not rub with the oem wheels.

 

Just trim the bumper a tiny bit at the bottom.

Not that this will be any help, but this is exactly why I hate the 275/70 tire size. Big enough to rub, not big enough to notice the difference between these and the OEM size.

(I understand if you, the reader of my comment CAN see a difference.)

my cut was a bit ugly, hid it with trim

 

Absolutely no rubbing off Roeding and I put it to the test not overly abusive test but hard turns left and right up and over berms absolutely no rubbing. I hope this helps. lastly, I use the Dremel to make the cut.

 

@wyldrr89 did you happen to get new wheels at the same time as those tires?

 

yes I did, they were just mounted on & tire alignment was done at the dealership

 

Crazy part about it, went with the 275 because I was trying to avoid trimming or viper cut. And if I have to have to trim should of just went with the bigger size

 

Also just found out I have 1 inch clearance on the right side with no rub... how does that even make sense at this point?

 

A difference in wheel offset is probably contributing to the rubbing. Look at this:
