Tire poke????

Getting ready to install my TRD pro wheels with the standard size tires. Will the tires poke out a little farther? Should I consider some spacers? Thanks!

 

Yes it will. The TRD wheels I believe are +4mm offset (pre 2021 and post 2021 TRF wheels are slightly different, but I think both are both +4mm)

 

SR5 wheels are +15 so Pro wheels will come out 11mm or just under 1/2"

 

its not really gonna be enough to notice, and it wont stick out past fenders so no real "poke"

 

It will be enough to notice if OP’s on stock SR5 wheels. The TRD wheels bring the tire just about flush with the fenders. But ya, nothing more than that

 

they are not flush, i have a zero offset with 275s and they are barely flush. only douche bags with a -38 and 305s care/love how much tire poke they have, and then it causes a whole host of issues on top of that.

 

Just looking to get closer to being flush than the standard sr5 wheels.

 

Zero offset is the way

Here a pic of TRD Offroad wheels vs TRD Pro wheels. Both running 285/70R17.No wheel spacers and will absolutely not install wheel spacers on my vehicles.
(and yes, I understand that TRD Pro wheels are not approved to runs 285s.)

 

-10s sit pretty flush, IMO. This is with a 285/70. The 0 offset will sit slightly tucked in.
