The time has come to start looking at new tires for my wife's limited. No need for all terrains as this is our family car so looking at all season tires in the factory size.

Anyone have personal experience with the Pirelli Scorpion All Season Plus 3 tire? I'm finding generally positive reviews online. Seem to be very comparable with the Michelin Defender LTX M/S. They are a little less expensive and Discount Tire has an instant $150 off going on until Sunday night, so they caught my eye.

I've ran the Michelin's on a previous vehicle and love them so that's also and option, I'll just have to wait until there is a sale. I also wasn't sure how they would look in a 20" tire being a more square tire.

Opinions welcome as most of my tire experience has been with all terrains.

    Thanks!

I just put on Pirelli Scorpion AT plus on my 2017 4runner. Walmart had sale of $161 , sams club $187. On line $230. I asked my local tire shop to match $187 and they were okay with pricing. Very quiet on road.
I put michelin defenders on my sons CRV and he is very happy with them.

Like HungryHawk I put the Scorpion AT Plus on my 2019. Can't speak specifically about the AS but I've been very happy with my AT's. Also, my Sam's had them in stock, but at a higher price than online through Walmart. Showed them the Walmart web site and they matched the price.

both are equally good. Have you explorer the Falken all season line?

I have not, but Falken is always on the list to check out. I ended up going with the Pirelli AS Plus 3. So far very happy with them. Time will tell!

A few years back I had them on my F250 Superduty and had nothing but rave reviews on them.

Coming from Michelin, That should give a pretty good look at my expectations.

I just had a set of Scorpion AT+ put on two days ago. They look great and are so much more quiet than the KO2's.

I have had my stock size Pirelli ATplus for several months. No complaints but not tested in dirt or snow yet. The ones I have are 115T rated XL. Same gas mileage on highway trips as stock All Season.I decided upon these AT+ when I saw them on display at Sams Club. I felt the tire bead and and sidewall thickness in about 4" in from bead. Seemed 1/4 thicker than other brands of "P" SL AT tires for sale on the display rack. I emailed Pirelli about sidewall construction details between "P" models and "LT" models. All I learned was 2 belts for sidewall on both, but thicker on LT models.

I just remove mine after 4 months and installed my winter tires. Of all the AT tires I have tried in the past 4 years, these are by far my favorite. Very quiet on the highway and good traction on slippery surfaces, plus they look great.
