On our way to Maine yesterday morning the TPWS warning/ see dealer warning and low air emblem came on as we were going up 95. Stopped in the Maine rest area so the doggo could do his thing. Then I started it back up the low air emblem was there for a couple of seconds but went away. Was fine for the ride home. Truck had a brain fart?

It might be the sensor going bad. Did you check to see if the PSI was the same in all four tires?

Keep an eye on tyre pressure.
When the light comes on again, take it to the dealer since you probably in warranty still . They would let you know which sensor is not communicating with the TPMS module if any.
I am doubtful a sensor will go bad this early
on a 22' but you never know.

Also, look at the TPMS screen, it should show the one that’s “low” with an orange block around the number if I remember correctly. This is on an ORP

Thank you for the replies. Deux , no I did not physically check the pressure. It was reading 35 all four the remainder of the way up. 36 on the way home.

Possible that you encountered the first cool enough weather of the Fall to have your pressure drop just a pound or so below the threshold for the warning light. I have encountered the warning in all my TPMS equipped vehicles when the outside temps dip for the first time each fall/winter.

Check the pressure when cold. As tires heat up road friction or sun exposure the pressure increases

You can change the air pressure at which your TPMS alarms. Yours is probably set pretty high and goes off in the cold if the pressure drops below 35 psi. Look in your owner's manual for the "Initialization" process, use it to set the pressure to say, 32 psi (which is what the recommended pressure is on the door of the vehicle).

Because I drive my 2022 mainly on dirt roads I have my TPMS set to 25 psi so I can air down without setting off the alarm. Yet if I ever do get a flat, it will still warn me in time before I destroy the tire by driving on it when flat.

How do I get the display to show me the actual readings of each tire. When I scroll down to the tire pressure all the tires have dashes instead of an actual reading. I checked this while the vehicle was parked inside the driveway.

    It only registers after driving

right . . . after a few mins of driving, the sensors get picked up. If you park and leave the engine running, the sensors remain active, but the system is most accurate while driving

It takes a few minutes to register. I don't remember how long exactly

The answer below was correct. It won't show unless you're driving, and it will hold the last number it had until you turn it off.

@Tino check your pressures cold before ambient temps rise too much or the sun hits your tire. I use a bike pump or portable inflator.

As you drive, the air inside the tire gets hotter and expands. Thus triggering the sensor. Happened to me driving across USA. Not a problem

Mine shows after idling for a couple minutes even without driving. I check it after airing back up

Leave the screen with the dashes on, drive 5 miles and they should register the actually pressure reading from the TPMS. If this doesn’t work, they you may have an issue.
