It has been a little bit since I made a post here, and wanted to update what models we currently have available for the 4 Runner family.

For the 5th Generation 2010-2024 4 Runner we have a full skid plate package that includes the following skid plates.
    • Front/Engine skid plate - KDSS and NON KDSS Versions
    • Transmission skid(also protects the catalytic converters.)
    • Transfer Case Skid plate.

Standard version above, KDSS version shown below.

We are currently test fitting a fuel tank skid, and will be offering that soon. We are also working on A arm skid plates as well.

For the 2003-2009 4th Generation four runner we only have the transmission skid plate at this time. Are you in Houston? Looking for skid plates, message us as we want to offer a set for these. We have a transmission skid plate for both the v8 and v6 4Runners.

We also released a skid plate package for the 3rd generation 4 Runner earlier this year. This is a full Engine transmission and transfer case skid plate.

While it may not be apparent at face level, there are little detail that make our plates a bit better. Here are a few of them
    • Engine plate uses a bracket at the front that greatly increases strength over other mounting options. This is through adding supporting flanges and increasing material thickness
    • Transmission skid plate has an option for reinforcing ribs. The reinforcing ribs are spars welded down the length of the transmission skid plate the dramatically increase the strength over standard transmission skid plate.
Transfer Case: We maximized the size and thickness of the vertical flanges on the bolt in cross-member. The taller the vertical flange, the more of a load it can handle. This is like comparing the strength of a 2x4 to a 2x6.

All of our skid plates are offered in 3/16 steel and 5052 aluminum. The aluminum transfer case plate retains a steel cross member for strength.

Don't forget, our cyber Monday sale is also going on! Don't miss out on good savings.

    What are your questions?
