tailgate window wont roll down, i can sometimes get it if i mash the button like 1000 times, but here is what i have done so far. Direct power to the motor- works both up and down, bypass the wiper motor- no change. Messed with the console switch- gauge lights went out now, but still no change, slight corrosion noted but cleaned, no change. I can notice the draw when i press up button lights slight dim, no dim for down press but can hear "click" towards the rear. Bypasses lock safety switch, no change appears functional and still shows "back door" on dash. Im pretty much at a loss now, my next step the relay? Also, noticed window lock doesnt work, when i get the down to work can still go up and down regardless of window lock on console, but window lock on master switch does work, also key in rear door is the same, up works but down wont, same click noise but no movement unless i do it like 1000 times. Please any help will be great, also anyone have an idea about my dash lights? seems weird!

I had the opposite issue. would roll down but not up. It was the relay box. Make sure the wiper is fully seated and tailgate latched and locked. Really sounds like the relay box. I bought a used one off of ebay for about $50 a few years ago. Not sure what they go for now.

One-at-this-price stripper. Bought new 34 yrs ago, a $13K leftover. Added Detroit TruTrac, 1”rear spring spacer and “pinstripes”… Factory AC kit and roof rack bought at dealer cost at time of purchase, still blows ice cold 32yrs later. 2022 AG ORP all stock.
There is a relay board/box and if I remember correctly also with the rear window washer pump/wiper relays on the board. They use the same style of relay. The window motor pulls far more amperage than the wiper/washer pump and gets used a lot more, hence the relay contacts arc and you end up with erratic operation. My son de-soldered the washer relay and swapped it with the window relay. We did this about 15yrs ago so my old dried-out brain cannot remember all the details. I think I remember you can cut open the plastic relay cover to burnishing the contacts to improve the connection without de-soldering but my son went and swapped them anyway and we burnishing both of them as well.
One more thing I have discovered is the rubber window seal along the top of the tailgate gets contaminated over time with dirt/grit on the sealing surface. Take something thin and run it back and forth between the window and seal and scrape the contamination off to get back to rubber. I happened to have one of those thin putty knife-like tools that pharmacist use for counting pills and it worked great. This reduces the friction between the window & seal and lowers the current load on the motor and probably will make the relay last longer. Window moves a bit faster too.
