Has anyone used Taco Vinyl and what has your experience been with quality control?
I bought their Toyota heritage badge some time ago and its held up nicely. I just received their Pro Grille conversion kit with custom lettering (I already have "Toyota" on a custom steel lower bumper from DB customz. Unfortunately while the letters look excellent, the paint job on the garnish left a lot to be desired and was chipped right in front. I have let them know and am waiting to see what they say. But I was wondering if anyone had one of their grilles and how its held up. I feel like I may have to clear coat it due to the paint job being thin and shoddy. let me know.

Installed buddy’s pro grill from there last week. The matte finish was scratched. The fit was absolute garbage. He has a 2021 and it required trimming of OEM parts to fit and still looks like shit. They’re suppose to send him a newer version.

Well I haven't tried to install yet, but their support got right back to me and either said they would do partial refund or I could send it back and wait for a new one. I opted for a partial refund which was summited 5 minutes after I emailed them.

I do think I will be clear coating the garnish since the paint job isn't great. Not worried about gaps though my 4runner is black. We will see how it goes.

Can talk about the fit yet but customer service at least for me is excellent

I would highly recommend not doing business with TACO VINYL. I placed an order last week for their Pro Grill for my 5th Gen 4 Runner, I elected to pay the additional $50 for their "custom color" option, 2 days after placing the order they email me and say they can do it but for an additional $30 - I email them back 8 minutes after receipt of their email and tell them to cancel the order as there was no mention of any limitations with their custom color option that would result with an additional fee above & beyond their custom color fee - Typical bait & switch move - they emailed me back today (4 days later) to tell me to cancel it is a 10% post-purchase restocking fee - restocking fee for what I ask? as they have not done anything with my order other than read the order I placed and I canceled prior to them doing anything - I had to file a dispute with PayPal & hope they agree with me

As a follow up - Taco Vinyl, after agreeing to cancel the order & not charge me a 10% restocking fee due to their error (Quote from Taco Vinyl "Also as stated on our listings, there is a 10% restocking fee for canceled orders and all sales are final for custom orders after 24 hours (which we are willing to overlook). has canceled my order but refunded only a portion of the total sale but retained the 10% restocking fee. I have made Paypal aware of this and they will be seeking the difference on my behalf.
