    Hey All!
I have driven a good 2.5K on my 2018 4R. Every once in a while I think I hear the suspension squeaking/creaking. Any ideas what it can be?
I purchased it with about 12K miles on it. It came with a 3" lift, and 20" ko2s.
Taking it in for an oil change/ 15K maintenence soon. What can I have the techs look for? Or what should I be mindful of?
I mainly hear it on bumpier/rougher roads if that helps.
Thanks for reading and your thoughts!

Does it have aftermarket upper control arms? Or anything aftermarket in the back besides the shocks and springs?

Sometimes the plastic fasteners that hold your front wheel well liners in place can squeak.

Spray some WD40 on those fasteners and see if that helps.

Not that I was made aware of. A friend mentioned bad bushings...?

I don't know though, only 15K or so miles and they go bad? It's hard to tell also what is wrong because we need more details on what you actually have installed. Hopefully you get a good tech.

Wow. Never got back to this thread! Turned out to be a stripped bolt on my skid plate (thanks to the dealership techs after an oil change). It started as a faint squeak then progressed to a metal like tapping noise. It became obvious where it was coming from. Easy fix! Thanks for the advice oh so long ago ;)

Clean the hood latch and the two rubber bumpers that the hood rests on when closed. If there’s just a small amount of dust on these it will sound like a front suspension issue.

Yep. Just had to do that this week. Although this was a separate issue from the stripped bolt. My hood was making an annoying squeak that sounded as if it was coming from my suspension on the driver's side. Took it to dealership only to be quoted $2000 for changing all my coils as 2 were supposedly rubbing. I know my coils aren't rubbing, and I'm not going back to factory coils. Said nope, brought her home, bounced her up and down and located the noise in the hood. Did just as you stated. Quickest fix ever!

    I hate Stealerships!

Does it sound like two pieces of Styrofoam rubbing? If it does its the plastic cowl piece outside by windshield, you can press down on it and will make the same noise

Or it will be the splash guard on your front wheel well both easy fixes

Thanks for the response. I already figured it out, but will note these for potential future squeaks.
