Strut spacer on one (front) orner. Would you expect the opposite (rear) corner to compress a little?

Logically, I think yes, but anyone has practical experience? Strut spacer on front left would cause rear right coil to compress a little. The axis of rotation would be between front right and rear left. Yes?

That’s what I expected when I increased the preload on my coil-over springs to raise the front end a bit higher. But I was surprised by the fact that when I raised the drivers side front about 3/8”, the passenger side front also came up about the same amount! I was a bit puzzled by that.

Eventually I concluded that it must have been the swaybar that caused both front corners to increase ride-height. I was glad because, because that meant I didn’t have to adjust the passenger front coil. Two for the price of one lol.

The moral of the story is, swaybars will do some unexpected things to corner weight distribution when one corner is adjusted. I’m pretty sure you’d see the same effect adjusting ride height via top-hat spacer, or by pre-load.
