Steering Wheel XM/Radio channels controls not working.

Hello Everyone new to forum here..
I just bought a 2022 4runner trd off road. I've only had the truck for two days and i have a quick question about your steering wheel controls. I could have sworn before i started playing around with the settings i was able to change the individual channels in both the radio and XM radios using the up/down arrows on the steering wheel. For whatever reason its no longer able to that. It is now changes the sources. Is there a way to change it back? Am i going crazy? Does your up/down arrows change the channels for you all? Please help me retain my sanity.. hahahahah

 

My experience is that the up down controls only go through the pre-set stations (AM/FM/XM) unless you press and hold. You can scroll through AM/FM stations by pressing and holding briefly until it beeps, but I have not checked to see if that works changing non pre-set XM stations.

 

yes only works for the presets that you program in.. .and that can be mix of am/fm/sxm ....

 

ooh ok, thanks guys. I was thinking that it was changing the individual channels at one time before i messed with it.
