Stained Paint

I know i talk about paint an awful lot but anyone notice that the white stains so easily??

 

Yes, But with another Asian manufacturer. Back when I was a technician with Inifiniti we had more problems with white/pearl white finishes than the other colors available at the time. I am unsure why, but recall the detail department became very proficient with clay bars during my tour with them.

Majority of problems (once again this was back in the late 90s ) had been caught during the PDI and was corrected before a customer took delivery.

Based off of what I have been reading on the forums, procedures have changed from when I was in the field.

Currently the wife has a blizzard pearl and the only reason I went over the vehicle with a fine tooth comb was due to knowledge from when I was in the know.

 

Was always fighting those yellow pollen stains on my pearl white 350z. Maybe consult a PPF installer and see if PPF is more resistant to stains.

 

Forgot to mention that I do have PPF on the hood and mirrors on the wife's 4Runner.
