Well we got the SSO rear bumper installed. You never no how much you missed having a tailgate until you have one again. There are gaps to allow the 4runner to flex and not get into the sheet metal. the passenger side pic is from an angle and it makes the gap appear bigger than it is. Its been raining here since the install so these are the only pics I have. Once again SSO has hit it out of the park in my opinion.

I was wondering if SSO can make the spare mount with a tilt instead of straight up and down. I really like the the tilt! It makes it look a little more aggressive IMO. Two brands come to mind that have the spare tilted.... Expedition One and C4 Fabrication.

How long did you wait for it? And what brand are the sliders?

It’s a decent option however, it’s a lot going on back there and I’m not sure I’m a fan of the looks of it just yet. And the ladder bit on the side. I hate to say it but I can see it getting smacked and kissing that rear glass.

The ladder has rubber feet on it that sit on the glass, going 75 down the highway there is no flex in the ladder frame at all. It is different, the tailgate is a nice feature.

The real nice thing about the bumper is, SSO has a refer a friend program. I used my credits to purchase the bumper.
