Figured instead of making a million different posts, here is a good spot to document the things I’ve done.

I picked up this 2021 TRD Off-road Premium in Classic Silver metallic on 6/18/21 with 2 miles on it.

Coming from two Tacoma’s and a Tundra I knew I wouldn’t leave this thing stock for long.

Here she is the day I picked it up.

First mod on deck: window tint.

    I went with

-Madico Black Pearl high performance 20% all around.

-Madico Wincos 60% ceramic on the whole windshield.

Next up: get rid of that hideous boring stock grill, and blackout all the badges.

    All bits came from Cartrimhome

On the same day, I also swapped a few speakers that I had laying around from past Tacoma’s.

powerbass speakers in the front and rear doors.

I lucked out and found a local parting his truck out so I snagged a C4 lopro and a Sherpa rack from him. His truck was also silver.

I spent some time researching which suspension to go with, and then realized how hard it is to find anything in stock.

I decided to preorder Ironman Foam Cell Pro Stage 3 since it was due in stock the next week.

it shipped out about 2 weeks later.

In the meantime I had to source wheels and tires. I knew I wanted to go with Wildpeaks, I’ve always been a fan.

I was happy to find out they make a 285/70 C load now.

I was pretty set on going with some Summit Dakar’s but they are impossible to get ahold of.

after browsing the gram for a while, I came across these Ryder Off-road wheels. I like the design and the price is even better. $175/wheel with free shipping at the time. I got 5 wheels for $875 shipped.

I ordered a set of Durobumps front and rear, and once they arrived I got to work.

about 6-7 hours later, the lift is done.

Today I also received the Canvasback liners that I ordered a few weeks back. Got them installed quick.

I've currently got a Tundra and I'm trying to get into a venture trim in black! I just don't need my Tundra any more and I feel like the 4runner would be a better all around family car especially with my newborn!

Not super familiar with this brand (or any mirror brand) but wondering if you had the option of just installing the mirror w/ the built in turn signal? My 4Runner has the non-sequential signal on the outside (which I’m fine with), though wondering if I’d have to replace that as well in order to add the mirror?

You don’t need to add the convex mirror, you can just do the sequential signal. Mine was chrome and I wanted the smoked look so I ordered this one as a kit with the mirors.

I sold my Tundra to Carvana and grabbed this. It’s a bit of a change I’m still trying to get used to. The tundra had tons of power, the 4Runner not so much.

I just want to add the mirror. I’ve got OEM signals in my housing already which I’m fine with. Just wasn’t sure if I could slap the mirror in and wire it to the other light

Yep! You don’t need both. Just be aware that the mirror seems a little weird at first with how wide the angle is. I’m still getting used to it.

Thanks. Maybe it’s just me, though the mirror glass in the picture you posted seems smaller that OEM?

They sound noticeably better, check out the magnet size comparisons.

Only have about 10 miles of driving on them so far but I’m happy with the ride. Will give better updates as I get more time with them.

I’ve been looking for a no-drill, no magnet phone mount since I bought this thing.

I finally settled on ProClip. So far so good, and great quality piece.

Thanks! Looks like cartrimhome is the only retailer for these mirrors that’ll fit a 4Runner?
