Has anyone ever spray painted there 4runner. I want to repaint the whole thing. YouTube made it sound really complex. It is a wheeler but I just want it to all be one color. I’m in the Navy and live in the barracks so I don’t have a garage. So it would have to get painted in the sunlight. Any advice thanks.

I spray painted an 89 civic. It looked spray painted. not terrible but I left it primer black. Wear a respirator. For what that truck looks like I would leave it as it. Doesn't look bad. You'll likely make it worse.

Might be worth getting a super cheap paint job. But again that paint doesn't look bad at all.

Might be fun to spend a little and get a tent and a real air brush and real paint to try to do it well yourself.

    Oooh look, another mod.....

+1 on this. I remember what it was like living in the barracks (Ex-Army here). Save every bit of money that you can. Don't paint it or do anything to it unless you have to.

One-at-this-price stripper. Bought new 34 yrs ago, a $13K leftover. Added Detroit TruTrac, 1”rear spring spacer and “pinstripes”… Factory AC kit and roof rack bought at dealer cost at time of purchase, still blows ice cold 32yrs later. 2022 AG ORP all stock.
Do the prep yourself and have a local paint shop paint it. Time and effort spent on prep….through cleaning and sanding make all the difference in the paint adhering and laying flat.
