Spare wheel and tire

Hey everyone first post. I recently bought a new Limited and replaced the stock 20" rims and tires with 17x8.5 rims and 265 70R17 Toyo tires. I still have the stock 20" spare underneath and want to replace it with a cheap spare that will fit. Any suggestions to something cheap that I can put up there? I dont want to spend another 500 bucks just to have a matching spare. The spare would only be used if i cant plug the new tires and only to get me home. Thanks.

 

Look for a steelie in the buy/sell/trade on this forum, or on marketplace. Sometimes people go to a matching spare, so they get rid of their steel spare wheel.

Then, use the tire that comes on it, or get a matching spare tire.

 

Welcome from Arizona! Sometimes your local tire store will have take-offs for sale. Both tires and wheels.

 

thanks both. never thought of looking in the buy sell forum. someone must have replaced their stock 265s with 285s and has a spare wheel tire they want to get rid of.

 

Where are you located? I’ve got a stock 17” spare sitting around.

You can get the ORP wheels on Craigslist or Facebook marketplace for about $100 each. They are 17x 7.5
