    Hello everyone,
I am a new owner of 2022 limited 4runner, and my spare tire is missing.
I've looked online on Toyota parts and fount a spare "wheel" and it says it fits the 2022 limited but to make sure I called the dealer and they said no it doesn't fit and I actually need a regular rim that costs $495.05 .. of course I'm not spending that on a spare tire! I also tried to look in scrapyards but still nothing!
Did anyone go through this before? and if they did can they share their experience?
the tire pressure sensor is always lit on my dashboard because of that and its driving me crazy!!

My 97 had a spare. I'm sure you could buy generic steel wheel that would work.

Looks like there were multiple wheel sizes that year. You didn't tell us what wheel size you currently have. TOYOTA seems to list just the single spare steel wheel so maybe for larger wheels, they did give you the regular wheel as a spare.

As far as I know all 5th gens have a steel spare.
You will get more responses in the 5th gen forum.

My 2018 Limited had a matching 20” aluminum rim. I just pulled all 5 and went with 5 17” ORP takeoffs

This is an interesting approach...3 different threads, one in 3rd Gen, one in 5th Gen, and one in New Member Introductions, all regarding the same question...

this one was a mistake in this thread and I couldn't delete it. and there is only one other one in the 5th Gen.
If you can't help with an answer you can go on with your day.

It's all good. I wasn't trying to give you a hard time. Did you ever get a line on a spare wheel & tire? It seems I saw someone offering single Limited wheels on Ebay...

I think you accidentally commented on the spare tire thread instead of the headlight upgrade thread - https://www.4runners.com/threads/ne...d-row-need-lighting-advice.29090/#post-408569

@Zlatan45202 if there is any possibility could you please measure mid wheel to fender height all 4 corners? Asking since my Limited is no more stock I would like to see how much lift I have each corner. Thank you.
