they are pre-painted and cleared coated in Midnight Black Metallic? what other pre-painted parts can one get direct from Toyota?

 

The Venture model has a lot of blacked out parts, mirrors, door handles, front and back emblems, perhaps check those part numbers, which are real black plastic, not black painted.

I can remember installing black door handles from a 2008 Tundra onto my 2008 Yellow FJ, they were less than $20 each.

 

How about a photo with the door handle part numbers, not just the one with end cap?

 

@VentureTRD These have the sensors on the front two doors for lock/unlock with the key fob when touched. They are definitely not $20.

Would this work on any 4runner w/smart handles ? Are these metal or plastic ?

Yes they will work on any 4Runner that have sensors already. They are the exact same plastic as the stock handles of recent 4runners

 

Are these all the pieces ? I assuming 4 handles snd 4 end caps ?

 

@Daytonaviolet Yes, those are all the pieces. 8 in total. The front caps have two different part codes due to the driver side having room for a key hole. So 5 part Numbers instead of 4. (Front two door handles, back two door handles, front driver cap, front passenger cap, and rear two caps)

 

Doesn’t your white venture already come with black smart handles ?

 

@Daytonaviolet Yes. These are them. When I got the allocation I had them switched before purchasing. I wanted the white handles.

For folks interested In this mod. It works. Just got to swap the internals (3 screws). Limited up to 2019 has 6 pin connector. 2020 and newer smart handles has only 2 pins.

but if you want oem painted handles to replace your chrome the part numbers will fit.

the fit snd finish is much better then the older chrome. Ignore the key cylinder as I have updated that

 

What do those black OEM handles run? And to confirm, those are the 2020 trail/SR5 stock handle correct?

Less than I Figured actually. The price we pay for OEM. Well with it though. I actually just called my buddy at The Lexus/Toyota dealership and he’s going to order me a set of GX470 handles and land cruiser handles on blizzard Pearl to see if they fit. He said they should be the same even the connector.
