So this happened today

Biggest dislike on the runner was the tires. Soft suspension close second. So I bought the Discount Tire Goodyear specials. Got some money off for the stock Bridgestones so that helped ease my pain for replacing brand new tires.
Quiet, no highway shake that I read about other tires. Look good, not crazy aggressive and not to heavy SL rated, stock size. New to the 4Runners and never bought stock size so that’s a first.

Now put some Bilstein 5100’s up front and you have eliminated your second gripe. Enjoy

 

Ultra terrain only sold at Discount tire. Not even on Goodyear website

I imagine his bumper came just like that from the factory... matching the rest of the vehicle and all..

If you are referring to his black colored front TRD valence... his also came like that. The Venture trim gets the same black front valence that the TRD Pro has. I believe you can buy the part, already painted just like that, from Toyota.

Yup. Black on valence front rear, spoiler, door handles. Yakima roof basket, Pro wheels etc

 

Not sure if you were saying rear valence or rear spoiler there, but recently I realized that the Venture doesn't even come with a rear valence.

My Venture came with the Nitto Ridge Grapplers, I think it depends on the dealer.

 

I also have the UltraTerrains ... with Bilstein 5100s. Great combination!

 

Nice looking 4Runner. Are you still liking the Ultraterrains?

 

Not to speak for others, but my UltraTerrains drive well at highway pressure and feel confident when I air down and take them off road. Glad to have a little extra travel with the 5100s so I get the most traction I can on the fun stuff, too. Between the tires and crawl control, I feel my 4Runner can take me anywhere.
