I am hearing slight deep clunk releasing brake pedal from complete stop (e.g., stoplight) but not while moving. I looked at brake calipers without disassembling and don't see any issues (yes, I know if I want to be certain I need to take them off to inspect). I think it is very unlikely it is a sticking caliper as I see no other signs that would normally be visible on disks. I know this is a warranty problem, but I'd like to know in advance of going to the dealer what it could be. No issues with transmission shifting. No issues going between 4WD modes. I know not to drive on pavement locked.

    Any advice appreciated.

    Oooh look, another mod.....

I would inspect the brake pads, brake rotors & brake calipers on all four wheels. But since your vehicle is under warranty, don't give it too much worry. You may have hit something and that knocked something loose? Maybe bad weather is making one of them stick?

I’m guessing it’s sticky slip yoke. You could try re-greasing it. It can be a bit of a project if you don’t like working on your cars, so taking it to the dealer for warranty is reasonable…as long as the problem is reproduce-able on command.
