Suspension is shot. Would like to add a lift up to 2.5 inches. Nothing crazy just a step or two above a stock set up. I have a Gobi roof rack, and audio system that adds 100lbs or so, and a James baroud tent that adds 145lbs. And I’ll be adding victory sliders in the near future. Live in orlando but split time between theee and the Carolinas. Set up goal is basic over landing, camping and mountain biking. Any help would be greatly appreciated

also, plan on adding bumpers but I’ll most likely re do the suspension at that point unless there are easily upgrade options

So many choices, If you search throughout the forum a bit you will find some great builds to give you some ideas. This is my 17 SR5 at 2.5” front with 2” springs in the rear.

Was initially looking at kings but think they might be overkill for me. Also, not sure if I should go with a rebuildable set up

How would you compare the ride to the stock set up

Way better, took the lean out on turns, and also the nose dive on braking is so much better. The handling is very good, i can blast over just about any obstacles, like ruts, dips, washboards. I am very happy with it.

I look at it like this, the kings are great on road and off, but if your not going to beat the hell out of them you probably will not have to rebuild them until way after 50k. So any other suspension will just about be ready to replace at that timeframe. Suspension does not really last 150-200k tou just get used to the worn out shit and keep driving on it until you can’t stand it anymore.

If you don’t need too much lift you should look into BP51 or bilstein 6112 the BP is fully adjustable
