Any good ways to de-badge these pros? I realize I can just take the ones off the sides but the front bumper and rear Deck are going to be tough. I have the blackout option if that matters. Any aftermarket companies sell Replacements without badging? Anyone done this and know what it takes or what's involved? Thanks for helping advance.

Just curious why you would want to. Are you ashamed of a Toyota coming over from a Ford? Or do you just think it would be a cleaner look

Ya I wouldn’t de-badge a pro. I like the way it looks with them.

De-badging is a big thing on the West coast(don't know about other areas) some say certain European cars can be ordered, de-badged. :notsure:

Yeah I like the smooth clean look. I don't care about the pro name, I honestly never even knew it was a big deal until I started researching these to buy one. I kind of assumed it was a similar to some type of sport model. I bought the pro almost entirely because I wanted this LR paint job and the fox shocks because I love the Fox reservoir shocks that were on my Raptor. The name itself doesn't really matter to me at all. But I do like the look of no badging. I know I can strip the side badges with line, but that front grille wording looks impacted into the plastic, and the Toyota on the rear deck is a whole other story. Was hoping maybe there was some wordless aftermarket options just to replace the entire front bar and rear decklid badge

Any bodyshop worth their salt can erase them if you're willing to fork out the coin.

Not a fan of de-badging. Atleast I would never do a thing like that.

Who cares? This never shows everything anyway.
For the front, you'd probably have to buy an aftermarket blank heritage grill overlay and remove the entire overlay on yours. It's the big black thing that the Toyota letters are on. If you try removing the Toyota letters, you'll probably get little indentations left over. A blank aftermarket heritage grill overlay will be completely smooth.

Good luck with the big Toyota emblem and the 4Runner badging on the rear below the window. I don't know if there are any good options here.

Yeah I agree, it came from the hot roders in the 50’s and 60’s, they would do it so you really didn’t know what you were up against..

Got dealer to remove the ones on my c-pillars when I took delivery. I like the clean look. I left all the other badging. If someone can’t tell it’s a pro or an OR by the hood or paint do you really care what they think of your rig anyway? ;)

Yeah, it actually looks like all the lettering including the Toyota symbol on the rear deck is stuck on with 3m two-sided tape, so it'll all come off pretty easy but the problem is that Toyota symbol will leave a big empty circular space. That's why I was hoping there might be some type of aftermarket applique out there.

Fishing line and blow dryer works well. Finish it off with goof-off. I like the clean looks as well.

I don't know about anyone else but, if I had the doe to buy a pro, I would make shure every one would know it was a pro. Just my 2 cents. Definitely would not de badge.

I'll trade my SR5 badges for your Pro badges. Of course I would be roasted by everyone.

Better yet, I'll take the Pro badges and add them to my SR5 badges.

Imagine, I'd be the only one with a "SR5 Pro".

Now that would be a conversation piece.

Well I removed the annoying things off my Pro like the roof rack and exhaust. There is no other way for them to know its a Pro. I paid big money for those badges and I bet they are worth a ton in resale.
