My truck keeps getting security locked every time I turn it off. I found this video that puts a paper clip in these reset holes and wait 30 minutes and that works. I think someone might have tried to break into it this weekend. My key doesn't fit in the drivers side key hole anymore. Someone knew I had a bunch of money on me and tried to break in I think. Maybe left a piece of something in that key hole that is triggering the security system. Would this be the cause? How do I fix it? Could there be another cause?

    Thanks guys

My lock is not broken. I use my key faub anyway to unlock it. I'm wondering if something broken off in the drivers side key hole would trigger the security system to lock up the truck. If that's it or there is something else going on.

Uh key no fit in lock. Its broken.

Its very well damn possible but I'm pretty sure 99% of the people on here haven't had something jammed into their key lock.

Fix the obvious first. Or take your door apart and see if there is a way to by pass if possible.
