Seat swap

Hi , I just replaced my front seats and now all the lights on the dash are on , the shift lock doesn't work and the lights on the running boards wont go off , when i try to lock it the alarm goes off as if something is open. I'm thinking its a programing issue . these seats are not from a limited and does not have the side airbag.

welcome. You already stated that some things are missing on the new seat that the BCM is looking for. You might need to get someone with Techstream to re flash the BCM maybe? I'm not really sure what can be turned off or not.

i replaced the brake light switch because the speedometer was not working unless I stepped on the brake , i have scan it and no codes so I reprogramed the ecm , I think its a bad ground some ware
