It is been my experience that seat covers do not help with anything, especially with the quality and durability of modern interiors.

Unless you’re looking for a thick mat to put on the seat because you have a large dog like animal that wants to scratch and eat the seat.

Mostly covers don’t fit well, will shift out from under you, look stupid, potentially could interfere with sensors and airbags, and will always look weird because they will never fit 100%.

Clazzio brand. Not cheap but also not typical “seat covers” as they fit and look very near factory. Just got mine a week ago. Went with their leather, though they do have PVC/vinyl/something of the sort options for cheaper.

I went through http://www.clazzio.com/ after deciding to go with the leather but there are good eBay dealers of the brand that sell their other varieties for a bit cheaper than the direct pricing.

Coverking isn’t a bad brand, either, and has a LOT of different materials to choose from in custom fitted covers. I got their “leatherette” for a previous vehicle and it was holding up well. Dealer didn’t know they were seat covers when I was trading the vehicle till I told them, nor did they remove them for selling the vehicle.

I’m old skool, but I have legit sheepskin on my drivers front of my 04 Taco. She’s worn down to the hide from getting in and out for 17 years but man it’s comfy and very durable. Looks brand new underneath.
