    So this Runner is less than a week old, when I installed the Nerf steps, I noticed there is rust on some parts, is this normal? Please see pic:

    It normal but I took the extra precaution and had my 2020 AG pro the whole under carriage spayed with fluid film.

    It's normal. And it's a week old to you, but it sat in a shipyard for a month or two.

    Yes mine had the exact same. It’s bare metal. Just buy some rust oleum rust dissolver and brush it on those with a tooth brush and it cleans it right off. Just surface rust on the bare metal. All new ones on the lot have that. Trust me I looked too. I’m ocd about rust. I get it.

    that looks great to me. figure the boat ride over from Aichi, then sitting in a lot before being transported to wherever you bought it from, it's been around a few months at least. Always good to check, but that thing will go forever.

    Always been a big fan of fluid film on my trucks. I get the inside of the frame done in the summer and coat the exterior of the frame in the fall.

    If you want, hit some of the welds on the frame with POR15 before you spray it.

    Yes POR15! Agree. I did this. Time consuming but will pay off. Wear gloves though! That stuff dries like concrete.
