Has anyone used Rough Country lift kits? I’m going to lift my 2017 SR5 and I cant decide between 2 or 3 inch kit. Anyone have any recommendations or better alternative companies? Let me see you 2 inch and 3 inch lifts on your runners.

I’d steer clear of rough country anything. You can get better for close to the same price.

also if you go with 3” you’ll need UCA’s to get a proper alignment.

this is also roughly 3” of lift over stock.

Rough Country, Pro Comp, all of them, trash. You can spend a few bucks more and get a substantially better lift.

    The whole enchilada,

    Lift: Front: Dobinsons IMS59-50700 shocks - coils C59-302 - 2.7/3.0" - Rear: shocks IMS59-50705 - Coils C59-505 - 1.7". No Upper Control Arms needed. Lift with tires Bfg KO 2 - 285/70/17 installed around a 3.6" lift; works wonders.

I installed the RC spacer kit in mine. No complaints so far. 2" front, 1' rear. Ride quality is pretty close to stock. Only reason I went the cheap route, at this time, was to slowly convince/ ease the wife into it. Its working so far. But a spacer kit is far from a full suspension kit. Spend the money of a quality kit like OME, Dobinson, Eibach or Bilstien...

New owner of 2021 Trail. Looking to level and gain a little ground clearance to avoid rocks hidden in the crown of Maine logging roads. Probably 2” will be fine. Putting on 275/70R17 KO2s when they come in. Some say stay clear of Rough Country or Pro Comp. What kit do you guys recommend then? Just spacers should work but buy from whom? Thank you.

If you know you’re going the spacer route, people on this forum seem very happy with the Cornfed spacers. A member on this forum is a Cornfed dealer and is known for excellent service. Search “Cornfed spacers” and it will pop right up.

Looks good af. How is having the 285/70/17 on the trd rims? I know some are iffy about it but I have never heard anything going wrong with it.

They unknowingly let you in on the quality of their products within their name. Rough, noisy and unreliable is what you'll get.

I just bought the Eibach kit for my 2021 Venture. For about $825, it didn’t break the bank and way better than any RC garbage.
