buy dial caliper and check what is wobbling: wheeel or hub or hub bearing play.

It's probably pad build up. Try the bedding process and see if the wobble goes away

Sounds like you might have already warped the new rotors, which is a bummer. One thing that could cause this is a sticky caliper. I would have a close look at both front calipers and make sure the pistons are moving in and out of the bores smoothly. Also, since you didn't do the pads, did you at least make sure everything on the pad to caliper contact surfaces were lubed and rust free? Do you live in a state that uses salt on the roads? Hopefully you can return the rotors for new ones. It's not unheard of to have rotors warped right out of the box. But, be sure to check everything on the calipers very carefully! Have the rotors machined back to flat again if they can't be returned.

Not an expert here, but as I understand it, pad material buildup is way more likely than a warped rotor. Rotors have to get extremely hot (red hot?) in order to distort. Very rare according to the few articles I've read.

If pads are constantly dragging, it doesn't take long to build extreme heat. And no, not red hot. I should have prefaced my recommendation by saying I went through almost the exact same scenario with my 2011. Replaced/rebuilt the calipers, problem solved.

I just swapped the rotors and pads on mine for the same reason. There was still quite a bit of pad left so I saved them and will put them back on in couple years when the new pads wear out. It’s nice and smooth now. Man do I hate the pins that hold the pads in place. The bottom ones are so difficult to get out. Had to put the torch on one of them.
Also to the OP. See if you can exchange your rotors. A lot of them have a 2 year warranty

Are you using factory pads? When rotating tires does the tech tighten lug nuts with gun or torque wrench.? Is the rotor and wheel mating surface clean ftom rust or debris.
I never surfaced or replaced rotors on a 2004 Pilot. Sold Pilot at 235,000 miles.
My 2017 SR5 is at 55,000 miles and using 2nd set factory pads as I always change early when lots of pad lining still these.
I always avoid hard stops when possible.

I’ve got the same problem. I’m not sure what it is but Daddykool probably nailed it from my reading up on the subject. I went with a higher quality pad and rotors but I’m hard on them driving in city traffic.

Been here,.done that on another vehicle.

A lazy caliper that is not fully releasing will cause the rotor to heat up and warp prematurely. I would drive around for a little bit, then measure the temp of both front rotors. If one is significantly hotter than the other, I think you've found your culprit.

Good tip. I need to check that on mine. One of pistons was pretty rusty and hard to compress when I changed the brakes.

Grew up working on cars, Dad was a mechanic.
Did many brake jobs and always thought I was always being super anal about it.
This video is amazing and there are things in there for anyone to learn....

    Brake Job, the right way

Are you braking them in correctly? This is a very important step for new brakes. Have you also checked the caliper slid pins to make sure they are not sticking? Slid pins need love too lol.

My car wobbles when I brake too - the mechanic always shaves the rotor but last time they just replaced the whole thing and I still have the wobble. What is bed the pads in mean?

When you put new pads on you should do a series of hard stops at increasing speeds but never coming to a complete stop. Do around 20 mph to 10 mph, 30 to 10 etc up to 50 or 60 mph if possible.

Got it. I should thank my mechanic for never telling me this...or get a new mechanic.

^^This. As I understand it, coming to a complete hard stop and holding the brake pedal down can focus the heat onto the pads, 'baking' a very thin amount of pad material onto the rotor. As Turd Ferguson says, don't come to a complete stop while bedding. Actually, coming to a complete hard stop during regular driving can cause this if you keep your foot on the brakes. Best to let up for 1/2 rotation after the stop, and then stop again. As I understand it - not an expert here.
