Roof rack

Looking on Amazon and there are several roof racks for decent prices. Anyone have any recommendations?

As a side note … many 4Runner owners favor the Rola basket. It’s conveniently sized so that it sits just inboard of the roof rails. From what I’ve seen a slick setup is pairing the Rola Basket with purpose-made mounting brackets from from 4xInnovations that let you omit the crossbars for a very low profile mounting solution.

I'm in the market for a roof rack and I like the low profile this seems to have. Would you mind posting a picture of the side view? Also, about how much does it weigh?

 

I read it weighs 38 lbs.

Um – the Rola rack can be had with an available extension that increases its length by a foot and a half, but will extend over the moonroof by a few inches.

 

I did something similar with my Rola Vortex, but made it quick disconnect. I'd only bolt it on when I needed it. I made a video here with details, but here are some pics that kinda show it along with the first iteration I had using u-bolts that I replaced. The nuts under the l-brackets are welded on so all I had to do was remove the (6) big bolts from the top and off she came. Sorry the pics are so damn big.
