Picking up my new 4runner today. debating between the full victory rack or the gobi rack (with sunroof slot). Any opinions on those? I like the low profile, cut look of the Victory 4x4 rack, but I really like the mesh of the Gobi?

Also Hatch Ladders... any opinions of preferences from anyone out there on them? Gobi, C4, etc?

    Thanks.

I waited 9 months for my Gobi ladder.

    I’d recommend Victory

Green lane makes a nice ladder that I’ve been considering. Inexpensive too, with the exchange rate.

Order in March 2018 and was advised 8-10 weeks. This lined up for me to receive it before I PCS’d from VA to CA. Never showed so I called them up, left voicemails, emails etc. Finally got ahold of them before leaving VA to update the shipping address to my sisters in AZ (drove across country). Get to AZ a week later and waited 4 days there for it to arrive (July 2018). Never arrived so I called again and finally got through to someone to put a hold on shipping it since I didn’t have an address for them to send it to.

Got to CA in late July 2018 and called to update my address...and waited, and waited, and waited. I called every two weeks and left messages and finally in November 2018 I got an email with the shipping info.

Would not and can not recommend Gobi

Yea if you want to just throw $1600 at them and then just wait up to a year knowing with uncertainty you won't get an update, you won't be able to call them to get a status and you're fine with that, get a Gobi.

I agree, if you are in the market for a ladder. Excuse my ignorance, but what does CAD convert to in USD?
