Roof light bar mount 2nd gen

I bought a aftermarket 42” light bar but can’t find mounts that would make it fit, does anyone have any idea on how it might work? Please!!!

You will come to find that light bars above your line of sight will be useless when you are running behind your buddy in heavy dust or even light dust for that matter. The best place is below the bonnet on the bumper or there about. From experience while competing in SCORE 7S when we were catching a competitor in class during the night the upper pair or KC's that were mounted to the roll cage at the back of the CAB would be switched off. Otherwise the dust would be illuminated and you couldn't see the course at all. The headlights and the KCs mounted to the tube grill protection illuminated everything below your line of sight and you could see the dips and rocks and the dust but it wasn't as bad as the roof lights which were awful in the dust and we never used them.

I mounted a light bar in my son's 4Runner in the bumper and removed the cross rib in the valence below the bumper to make it fit flush with the bumpers surface. It is a good deal lower than the head lights but the illumination on the trail is very good. As for brackets a couple of pieces of steel strip from IMS provided the needed vibration free mounting that was a welded joint to the frame horns which has the body mounting provision handled.
