My '05 SR5 has the factory luggage rack, and I want to replace it with one like the one pictured (this is only the first one I came across while searching). I appreciate suggestions about which ones you recommend! Are they easily installed? Thanks very much!

What do you mean when you say factory luggage rack? Do you mean the standard side rails and crossbars? Or do you have a rack that already attaches to those?

The rola rack attaches to the factory cross bars and basically clamps around them. I have one and it takes me ten minutes to put on/off and is really easy. It's a pain to line up straight and center, but is easy to adjust to get there. Downsides to the rack you have pictured is that it's noisy and will cost you 1mpg on your gas mileage. Biggest upside though is it's probably the cheapest roof basket you can buy.

There's a company that makes brackets to mount directly to the side rails instead of the crossbar and lower it about an inch: https://www.4xinnovations.com/03-23-4Runner-Rola-Rack-Mount-Kit_p_43.html

There are a lot of other options out there, depending on how hardcore you want to go, how bro-overland you want to look, and how much you want to spend. High end option that is popular is Prinsu, but expect to pay $1k or more.
