Right turn signal

Seems like very 4runner i look at, the only way to get the right blinker to work/stay on is if you move the lever up slowly. Is this a common occurrence? Is there a fix for this?

 

The multi function turn signal switch\stalk is probably bad. Very common.

I got a replacement from a TOYOTA dealer for like $150 and put it in. Fixed my problem with sometimes working blinkers.

 

This is a fairly common problem Toyotas have. Many times the trouble is bent, or corroded, or both, contact in th portion of the switch inside the steering column. The contacts are right out in the open, and easy to access. Before you spend the money to get a whole new assembly, try cleaning, and/or straightening the contacts. A little Ruby cloth can do amazing things for those switches.

There are several threads with "how to", including pictures. Just do a search of the forums for something about cleaning, or adjusting the turn signal switch. You'll be amazed at what's out there.
