I went to this last year and had a good time. Met a fellow with Taco and hit a couple awesome trails in the area.

We were on this trail going the other way. There are cut arounds on some of the most difficult areas (which we took). I'd say we were on this trail for a good 3 hours.

The rally has a large vendor section with some deals to be had. Plus there are training sessions / classes to attend throughout Saturday and Sunday.

Every night they have a huge drawing for everyone that is registered for the event. I won a Frontrunner kitchen cutlery set. They gave away like 10 winches, a rooftop tent, and a ton of other recovery gear last year. I was amazed by the quality and volume of the drawing.

I got a crappy motel last year but plan to camp on site this year.

It's not too late to sign up if y'all want to hit some awesome trails. Total with tax for 1 person is $62.41

Some pics from last year and a really crappy video filmed on my buddy's cell phone:

Up here in Canada, an event like this probably wouldn’t happen during the pandemic, although some limited, local meet ups did happen this summer. They were controversial. In fact, any social gathering right now is being warned against, and a new round of partial restrictions is coming in place. We could be in full lockdown again by Christmas depending on what happens.

I'm sure all the proper guidelines for social distancing and mask use will be in place.
    Or not.

I might want to show up to this. May not be able to do the whole weekend though.

You can show up and just pay to enter the Off Road Park for the day and still take part in everything minus the raffle.
The guided trail rides are full but there are some neat trails in / outside the park to check out.

Cash is king at the vendor area. I believe the restaurant will take a credit card. Cellular service is spotty. I'll have a pair of Midland X-Talker 2 way radios with me. You can borrow one of them.

Last year I got cheap crappy / only motel in downtown Ozark, AR. Which is about 20 to 30 minutes south of the park.

I'm planning on camping / sleeping in my 4Runner this year, in the area behind the bathroom shower building near the river.

You might take down my license plate:

Here's a selfie, I'll most likely be wearing this hat.

Side note: The park says no firearms. Last year they gave away a Ruger MKIV 22LR pistol at the raffle and just about everyone was carrying a handgun.

How was it? I wanted to come but I've got conflicting things this time. I plan to make it next year.

Forcast won a pretty cool folding soft side solar panel.
I won a GMRS Radio (walkie talkie).

I had a good time. Will definitely go again next year.
In our little group we had guys from Missouri, Arkansas, Iowa, Kentucky, and Mississippi.

I put together a quick video of a great trail we drove during this event. Its just a long cut of basically the whole trail with some other clips at the beginning and end. Let me know what you think, I'm going to try to get more into doing long videos of trails i drive and post them to YouTube.
