I'm looking to create some room between the battery and firewall for an air compressor by relocating the Magnuson Supercharger coolant reservoir. I'm not sure if anything special needs to be considered other than making sure it doesn't leak. Has anyone else relocated it? If so, where did you place it and what else should be considered.

I wouldn’t think it would be a big deal; other than making sure it doesn’t leak, and that hoses are routed safely (no where were they might get abrasion or contact a hot surface). If the hoses will end up longer than before, you’d have the benefit of additional coolant capacity as well.

Next best spot I could think of would be by the passenger side firewall.

Before taking my advise though, I’d consider calling up magnuson and getting their opinion.
