What’s up guys, looking to get some advice. For a 5th Gen 4Runner with 35’s and the Magnuson supercharger, would 4.56 or 4.88 gears be better? Lots of highway driving as it’s my daily driver, and off-roading maybe 2-3 a month, no extra added weight. Primarily concerned with 4.88 putting my RPM’s too high at speeds of around 80mph.

35s, 4.88s and a supercharger sound like a dream rig to me, but I never hit 80mph. I know there are some members here running 4.88s so hopefully they will chime in. I'd try not to run down the highway above 2500 rpms for an extended duration, but that's just me.

I have Toyo MT 35” (no SC). They are heavy and 4.88 does the job.

I run 33s and intent to stay there, also have the SC and regeared to 456. I love the low end torque and control when I am offroading. I don't ever get to high speeds other than just passing and then just obeying the law. Seems to work for my requirements.
