I want to convert my key to a flip key. Can anyone recommend a shell case? Thanks!

    Currently stock; MODS coming soon.
I like the meso flip key and also the AJT design fobs for my Tacoma and 4R.

Is meso worth $70 when I can get one on Amazon for $15?

Where is this Amazon $15 you speak of.

You need to get the Amazon ones cut and programmed. Theses just cut you reuse the internals.

Not to mention they look better.

Any shell with two buttons and compatible with G key should work right? Surely, the ones for ~$15 don't come with a chip so you need to transfer one from your existing key. But this one comes with a built in chip which you need to program yourself but that takes ~10min. Dont you also need to program the Meso ones yourself? I find reusing your existing chip more work than programming.

The description says 4Runner but you try to enter 4Runner into vehicle fit and it says it doesn't.

Meso ones you don't reprogram anything you transfer all the internals get it cut and you are done.

Self programming I have no idea if it works.

If you want to chance it go for it. Speaking for everyone else most cough up the money for the Meso or AJT because they look nicer than the plain black factory fobs.

Just a note on the MESO: people been saying they’re cheaply made and pretty janky. I cancelled my $70 order

Has anyone converted a H key to flip? I am looking for a fob that comes with a chip to be programmed - I can only find G key. I don't want to destroy my oem key trying to remove the chip. Also, not willing to pay more than $25. Thanks!
