OK, well, let's start with a lift kit. What lift kit would you recommend? For a trd pro

This is where I sit with 285/70/17 with a Westcott lift

    wanting to run a Km3 285/75/17

The KM3 won’t fit with WD kit?

I doubt 285/75/17 will fit with any lift unless you do a body mount chop, especially if you get aftermarket UCA’s to get proper caster. They will probably fit with your Wescott kit and body mount chop. Give them a call.

Yes they should. Will have to remove front mud flaps. If you add aftermarket UCA’s, which will be required to get correct caster even though Wescott says you don’t need them, it will be close to body mounts. I am running 285/70/17 falken wildpeaks with Wescott kit and OME UCA’s and I clear the body mounts with about 3/8” clearance. I even checked clearance at full steering lock and full compression of suspension. Body mount clearance with factory UCA’s will be more, but you will not be able to get correct caster with Wescott lift. Camber and toe will be ok, but not caster.

285/70/17 falken wildpeaks, are they mud terrains?

I have a 21 TRD Pro with westcott designs lift. Just installed 285/70/17 Cooper STT Pros with a -10 offset wheel. Front bumper needed minor trimming (can’t even tell). Front mud flaps had to be removed as the tire rubs a little on the body mount. Going back to shop soon for alignment to move the tire forward

So I would need uca’s to run 285/70/17 MT’s on the WD kit on my 4 runner trd pro?

Yes I very much think so and even then you will likely rub when off roading. To run the 285 MTs I would consider both UCAs and a BMC with the WD lift to be sure you can still Offroad the vehicle without a ton of rubbing.

The -10 offset is contributing to the slight rub so hopefully alignment will help move tire forward. Quick note from my personal experience with the Wescott lift and aftermarket UCA's: the factory 7", +4mm offset TRD PRO wheels and 8" -0mm offset aftermarket wheels will clear body mount with 285/70/17 tires.

Not required. But after alignment, likely you will not have caster numbers in the green after getting camber and toe in the green. Probably close though. Aftermarket UCA's will get caster in the green.

Thanks for the input! I’m hoping the alignment helps because Im trying to avoid doing a BMC. But if it doesn’t work I’ll prob just end up doing the BMC.
