EZ Tow receptacle and Prodigy brake assist.
Hi, from the Hill Country of Texas. I've owned this 4Runner since 2010. I don't think I've ever owned a better vehicle. Purchased with 47000 miles on it, and now I have 227,000 + on it and have not had any major issues. Since I met my current wife, we have made numerous trips across the US to Vermont from Georgia, California, Arizona and Texas. We installed an EZ tow receptacle and brake assist when we purchased a 2017 Retro travel trailer and had no trouble towing it. We later purchased a 2019 R-Pod Model 191 and made several trips with it.

ANYWAY, I'm looking forward to learning from this forum.

Two things; one - the rear window washer and wiper stopped working. I checked the fuse (number 38) and it is intact. Two - the short cable that connects the hood latch to the hood release lever is broken and, so far, I haven't found a replacement.

    Thanks, Brian

Have you checked to make sure the rear window is all the way up, if it's opened even slightly the wiper will not work until you close the window all the way?

Welcome. For the hood, I'm not picturing a short cable, just the long main one.

Thanks AuSeeker. Now that you mention it, I remember having that issue before and had completely forgotten about the rear window being the isse.
