So I have an '02 SR5 that I bought from my parents back in January 2020 before the pandemic. I have been fixing, upgrading and updating things on the truck since. So far so good but I have a question. There is a rear window switch in then panel under the clock and next to the ECT button. It doesn't work so when I installed my new radio I noticed that it was never plugged in. OK, so I'll plug it in when I re-assemble. Problem is, there is no plug for that switch. Has anyone else come across this as well. Are the wires tucked away somewhere else waiting to be found? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It seems to me, I had a similar problem. Make sure that the wires for that switch aren't plugged into a "spare" port on the back of the ECT control somewhere.

I know there was a time I was reassembling everything and I was getting seriously pissed I couldn't find part of the wiring harness. I removed everything and noticed that there was a "spare" port where part of the harness would click into just fine but that port had no pins. Must be for an option I didn't have.

I hate to be vague...it's been several years, but disconnect everything and verify.

I have a spare switch bank laying around. The back of the window switch area has a blank port that fits the clock harness. So the window switch has to be tied into the white plug maybe?20211224_110804.jpg

Oh, maybe it was the clock that I remember.

Me too! Seller told me rear window doesn't work. I had the bezel off today when I was installing new shifter bushings. There was no plug into the rear window switch and no plug to be found.
