    I'm baffled. Left one goes up just fine with no effort, right one will not go up! i haven't flipped it up in years, did i forget the trick? Is there a trick? Owners manual is silent on the matter.

    I had this problem once. The middle seatbelt had gotten hung up on one of the brackets and wasn't allowing me to pull it forward. It took some finagaling but I eventually got it free.
