Anyone know what rear lift struts work with the 5th gen?

For example, I know you could modify the tundra rear 5100s to fit and the fj, 4th and 5th gen 5100s fit no modification but I'm wondering if it is the same for the 5th gen or if anyone knows if other struts besides the 5th gen 4 runners works

Enter your info and choose your new struts. Ive got their recommended for heavy duty struts for my 4th gen. Fit perfect and easy install once you get the OEMs off:cheers:

I didn't know there was such a thing as rear lift struts. My understanding is you can only lift the rear with new springs or a spacer....

EDIT: I might also be an idiot as it appears you are asking about rear liftgate struts?

Shocks don’t lift the rear, springs/spacers do. Why not just buy the specific parts if you’re going through the trouble to get parts from another vehicle?

All right so idk how I read this and got 'liftgate struts' instead of suspension but Ill leave my post up so people can laugh, and its a good resource anyway.

As to your actual question lol, Ive HEARD that FJ Cruiser parts will work on 4th gens, and thereby may be slightly modified to 5th gen application. But Ive never tried myself, those were old T4R.org and pirate4x4 articles.
Like @Mtbpsych asks is there any reason you couldnt find parts already designed for the 5th gen?
