    Got my new plates in, went to put them on, ran into this... plastic screws to hold on the license plate. On my way to Lowes...

    I think this is a dealership thing.. I had metal bolts in mine and noticed at the dealership they all had metal screws/ bolts

    At least they won’t rust, and they don’t have to do much to do their job. The car wash is probably their only threat.

    The problem was they were super soft from sitting in the sun, barely using a Philips screwdriver, destroys them.

    Plastic doesn’t rust and corrode. For rear plate brackets they are pretty common and they work great.

    They need to make them harder, the make up of the plastic is to soft.
