    Hello,

I have an new 2021 4Runner SR5 Premium and am going to switch to the TRD Pro Wheel very shortly using the existing stock tires that came with the SUV.

If I re-use my TPMS from my SR5 Premium wheel and move it to the TRD Pro Wheel, does it need to be reprogrammed?

The Tire Shop i spoke with sounded like it needed to be re-programmed as it would be moving to another wheel. If it needs to be re-programmed... is this something that the Tire Shop needs to do? Or can be done on our own.

    Please advise. Thanks in advance!

i don't think so you only need reprogramming when you get a new TPMS

Thank you.. Additionally, Anyone know how much it should cost per tire to move remove existing tire / TPMS sensor from SR5 Premium wheel and mount / balance on TRD Pro wheel? Shops seem to be quoting around $35 per tire... bit pricier than I thought.. I believe the norm is $25.. but $10 to move the TPMS sensor from one wheel to another (without any programming needed) seems a bit excessive?

I swapped wheels of my 4runner Limited from stock 20" wheels to 17" TRD Off-road wheels. Discount tire did not change anything extra to swap the TPMS sensors.
