Rattling on 2018 4 runner

Sounds like a rattling
coming from lower floor under steering column. Anyone else have this.

 

Check the splash guards inside the wheel wells, specifically the clips that mount the rubber splash guard to the metal of the 4Runner. Give them a wiggle. They get loose and make a very annoying and intermittent rattle. Noise is louder during cross wind situations.

Clips can either be pressed back into place or new clips purchased.

 

If that's not it, also check your skids to be sure nothing has come loose.

 

Could be also a heat shield got rusted and start rattling
