Radio stopped reading texts after getting iPhone XS

    I no longer can get a text to be read through the radio unit after changing phones, Anyone else ?

    Via Bluetooth? If so, go to setting, Bluetooth and select the car accessory and enable notifications.

    My iPhone did the same thing when I upgraded to iOS 12. Had to reenable notifications

    I changed some lights, tires and tinted windows...mind blowing huh

    My iPhone X did the same after moving to ios 12 and turning notifications back on did not fix it. I deleted the phone and re paired to the 4runner and it has been fine since.

    Interesting, I have an older 7+ and am on iOS 12. I only had to turn notifications back on and it’s worked fine since then

    I changed some lights, tires and tinted windows...mind blowing huh
    my MIL's iPhone 7+ got messed up when we updated hers to ios 12, whenever receiving a call the phone would show the info in the screen and play the ringer but the screen wouldn't respond. Ended up having it replace via warranty, ios 12 seems to be all over the place. I heard 12.1 is in beta and should be out soon.
